DITO Telecommunity Corp. aims to double its revenues in 2024, driven by growing number of mobile and broadband subscribers, an executive said over the weekend.

DITO chief commercial officer Evelyn Jimenez said revenues would likely reach P20 billion, up from P11 billion in 2023.

The company also anticipates to achieve positive earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) by 2025.

Jimenez said DITO was targeting 15 to 16 million subscribers this year, up from the current subscriber base of 10.4 million.

The company expects about 300,000 to 400,000 subscribers for home broadband this year from the current 100,000 subscribers.

DITO expects to pass the final mandatory performance audit by the National Telecommunications Commission by July.

The company also said it was on track to hitting a national population coverage of 84 percent by July from the current 82 percent.

DITO passed its fourth mandatory performance audit with a national population coverage of 80.65 percent.

DITO, in compliance with the minimum average broadband speeds (MABS), was clocked at 74.97 megabits per second for 4G and 639.32 Mbps for 5G for all sites with combined MABS of 357.14 Mbps.

The company allocated between P25 billion and P3 billion for 2024 capital expenditures to fund its aggressive nationwide network rollout.
