South Korean stars Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee have ended their romance just two weeks after going public in March 2024.
In a report from the Korean news outlet Edaily, a source from Jun-yeol’s agency confirmed the news.
“It is true that Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee broke up,” the source stated.
Both actors’ agency then confirmed the news on Saturday, March 30.
In a statement, So-hee’s agency, 9ato Entertainment, said: “Han So Hee and actor Ryu Jun Yeol have broken up. The two both found their roles as actors to be more important. They promised to no longer emotionally exhaust with their personal life.”
“Han So Hee gave herself and the public a difficult time due to her personal emotions. Her method of communication was incorrect. She willaccept any criticism.”
“Above all, the agency is greatly responsible for not looking afterits actor. The agency is reflecting on failing to properly play itsrole. Although it is very late, we will go on to right things from now on. Please continue to watch with a warm gaze.”
Earlier this March, So-hee acknowledged her relationship withJun-yeol, with the actor’s agency subsequently stating their relationship.
So-hee also denied involvement in Jun-yeol’s previous breakup with his ex-girlfriend, Lee Hyeri, the actor’s co-star in the K-drama “Reply 1988.”
This followed a cryptic post by Hyeri, interpreted as a response tothe dating news. The couple had dated for eight years before their November 2023 split.
Hyeri then issued a public apology on March 18 for letting emotionscloud her judgment. She clarified they had discussed their post-breakup relationship but had no further contact.
