#ANONGBALITA ‘May bibe na ba lahat?’ DepEd OK with hair clip

The Department of Education has no problem with students or teachers wearing duck hair clips that have become a hit in Baguio last year.

“It’s just a fad. It’s a hair accessory,” DepEd deputy spokesman Francis Bringas said in a television interview.

Bringas said he even bought his own duck hair clip in Binondo recently.

“It probably won’t hurt the class if you have an extra accessory. I don’t think it will be bothersome for many,” he added.

The fashion trend became a hit first in Baguio City before its popularity spread across other parts of the country.
