Time Cargo Logistics-2 takes Fil-Am golf’s Am-A crown

BAGUIO—Ruel Cabral sank a pressure-packed four-foot putt to lift Time Cargo Logistics-2 to a two-point victory over Forest Hills-2 in the Am-A division of the 73rd Januarius Fil Am Invitational held at the Baguio Country Club.

With Cabral’s heroics, Time Cargo finished with 86 and 431 points while Forest Hills wound up with 101 and 429 points.

Uraguns-1 (125-453) coasted to an easy win in Fil A, defeating X1R-Ecoverde (113-439) and Chelus (118-435).

Camp John Hay Golf Club triumphed in Fil-B (111-403) and Am-C (68-356), raising the host club’s trophies to four this year after its senior golfers also won two in last week’s seniors’ competition.

Other champions were Alpha Phi Omega-Team Omega (91-402) in Am-B; Avanti Transport Services/Laguna Ice (84-350) in Fil-C; Team Phoas of Uraguns (94-359) in Fil-D; Integral (61-293) in Am-D; Quickflow Forwarders (73-283) in Fil-E; and Cool Jocks (66-267) in Am-E.

Januarius Holdings was title sponsor and Toyota was presenter in partnership with Baguio Country Club, Camp John Hay, The Manor and Forest Lodge at CJH and Le Chef.

Master Siomari, FB Bantales, Bond Holden Mangaoang, 3 Strokes, LA Barakos Golf Circle, Brittany, Royal Northwoods, Grumpy Joe, Laus Group of Companies, K&G, JTen Sports, Asiatraders Corp., Dynamic Sports, GolfX, Premium Feeds, SPES Construction, Camaya Golf, Active Group, Pocari Sweat, Modern Titos AY, Alveo and Get Go were the other backers.
