Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) is getting ready for the anticipated increase in motorists during the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections and the observance of All Saints and All Souls’ Days. As a toll road operator, MPTC is committed to providing support for travelers through its “Safe Trip Mo, Sagot Ko” (SMSK) motorist assistance program.
The SMSK program held its initial activations last October 27-29 and will resume tomorrow, October 31 at 6AM, up until 6AM of November 2. The program’s final phase will commence from 6AM of November 4 and will end at 6AM of November 6. The program will cover MPT’s high-speed road networks, including North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), and the CAVITEX C5 Link.
The SMSK program aims to provide a comprehensive range of services to ensure smooth travel during the holidays. Additional personnel will be deployed for on-ground tasks such as traffic management, security, toll collection, and RFID installation. Free towing for CLASS 1 vehicles (up to the nearest exit only) will be available during the period, and emergency medical services and incident response teams will be strategically deployed to assist motorists in need.
Motorists can plan their trips using the MPT DriveHub app, which provides traffic updates, a toll fee calculator, reloading facilities, and emergency roadside assistance. Its 24/7 hotline at 1-35000, will also remain readily available to cater to customer requirements.
