No to toxic lead

Parents, students, and environmental advocates tout placards calling for ‘Lead-Safe Schools for Children’s Health and Safety’ during the International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week celebration on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Toro Hills Elementary School in Quezon City. The activists warn that lead paint which is harmful for the children, can be found in homes, schools, and playgrounds; that is why they call on the government to implement policies and measures that will limit the use of lead and ensure monitoring and management of potential exposures.
