Property developer SM Prime Holdings Inc. (SMPH) announced Wednesday the opening of a new mall in San Pedro City, Laguna.
SMPH said in a disclosure to the stock exchange it would open this Friday the three- level SM Center San Pedro which has 23,000 square meters of gross floor area.
“SM Center San Pedro is SM Prime’s 84th mall in the Philippines and is set to provide further opportunity for the company to expand its brand of service and convenience to more Filipinos in the south, specifically in Laguna and nearby towns of Cavite,” SMPH president Jeffrey Lim said.
Lim said given its ideal location, SM Center San Pedro aims to converge business, leisure and entertainment that will enhance economic and civic activities in the area.
The mall will be SMPH’s fourth mall in Laguna province. its first three malls in Laguna are located in Sta. Rosa, San Pablo and Calamba.
SM Center San Pedro will open with almost 90 percent of space lease awarded to various tenants.
SMPH also opened SM City Bataan with 46,000 sq. m. of gross floor area in May.
