The country’s premier male pageant, celebrating a ‘decade of masculinity with responsibility,’ crowned five new Misters of Filipinas 2023 titlists during an exciting Coronation Night held at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati City on Sunday.
Kenneth Vincent Cabungcal of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, took home the top title of Man of the World Philippines 2023, edging out 33 other candidates. Cabungcal is a member of B&B Models Cebu and studied BS Civil Engineering at Silliman University.
Hot favorite Godfrey Nikolai Murillo of Macabebe, Pampanga, was named Mister Fitness Supermodel World Philippines 2023. Murillo is a graduate of BS Tourism Management at La Consolacion University Philippines.
Model Lloyd Figueras of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte won Mister Teenager Universe Philippines 2023. A radio broadcasting journalist, Figueras actively works as a tourism ambassador of the province of Ilocos Norte.
Newbie actor Adrian Joseph ‘Drei’ Arias was named Mister Tourism Culture Universe Philippines 2023. A native of Malolos, Bulacan, Arias is a graduate of a degree in Theater Arts at Bulacan State University. He starred in Tim Muñoz’ Don Filipo (2021), Neil ‘Buboy’ Tan’s Bingwit (2022), and Bong Ramos’ Baka Sakali (2023).
Model RJ De Vera of Gerona, Tarlac, was named Mister Man Hot Star Philippines 2023. He completed a degree in Elementary Education. Brent Dalman of Cebu City, and James Harley Lajos of Gerona, Tarlac, finished as first and second runners-up, respectively.
Named in the Top 12 were Marvin Diamante of Laguna, Nico Librojo of Quezon City, Nikko Nackaerts of Taytay, Rizal, Hans Christian Tarona of Talisay City, and Charlon Guanga of Subic, Zambales.

Victory bash at Urban Smiles 10th Anniversary celebration
A star-studded event celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Urban Smiles Dental Clinic, one of the country’s most trusted dental chains, was held at the Grand Ballroom of SEDA Vertis North on Monday, graced by the new Misters of Filipinas 2023 winners in a victory bash appearance a day after their coronation.
Urban Smile, headed by Dr. Ralph Figaroa Delas Alas or simply called Dr. RFD and Ruel Apostol, announced its goal to redefine the dental and oral care landscape with pioneering technology, in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT), to position the Philippines as a premier dental tourism destination.
“We will treasure the camaraderie, unity, and friendship we formed during our pageant journey, and will surely miss all the wonderful experiences with our co-candidates,” the five newly crowned winners said in unison.
The anniversary occasion was attended by Alfred Vargas III, 5th District Councilor, and Mayor Joy Belmonte of Quezon City, with celebrities including Coco Martin, Vice Ganda, Moira dela Torre, and Zeinab Harake. PEPPS president and Misters of Filipinas founder Carlo Morris Galang also graced the event along with the present kings of Misters of Filipinas.
