BTS‘s Jungkook accidentally revealed his TikTok account, leading ARMYs to tease him since last Tuesday night.
It all started when he shared a video of Enhypen‘s Jay and Jungwon doing the “Seven” dance challenge on the fan community Weverse. Jungkook praised their dance skills with a comment, “Well done, well done.”
Notably, BTS members Jimin and Jin also joined in and left their impressed comments on the post.
However, fans quickly noticed the username ‘Ian’ associated with the video link, which led them to a certain TikTok account, @letjungcook7. Jungkook realized too late that his personal account name would be visible when he shared the TikTok video.
Upon realizing that ARMYs were already aware of his TikTok account, Jungkook promptly changed his name to ‘JK’ and explained that he used the account mainly for viewing TikTok videos.
“Ah, I shared a TikTok now everyone knows my account lol (Ah, I had my nickname as ‘Ian’…that’s embarrassing…) That’s right, it’s me, but I won’t do TikTok (on that account), it’s for viewing. I hastily changed to JK…I’ll leave it since everyone knows now lol it’s rather better (this way),” wrote Jungkook, according to an AllKpop report.
He even asked his fans not to tease him on his next live.
“Ah… I’m embarrassed… Heh Ha… Next time we meet/see each other, don’t make fun of me,” he added.
On the other hand, fans found his username, @letjungcook7, hilarious and started creating of him getting busted. Jungkook was also quick to tell them to, “Stop making Ian memes.”
As of writing, @letjungcook7’s TikTok account has gained over four million followers.
