In a statement sent to Manila Standard Entertainment, the board cited that the scene in question is in violation of Section 3 (c) of Presidential Decree No. 1986, which governs the proper classification and review of television content.

The hearing to address these concerns is set to take place today, July 31, at the MTRCB Office located in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

Representatives from the show are expected to attend the hearing to provide their testimonies and address the allegations raised against the show’s content.

The MTRCB’s decision to summon It’s Showtime for testimony comes as part of its commitment to ensure that television content adheres to established guidelines and respects community standards.
