Mayor Along provides free lab tests for Caloocan teachers

Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, in coordination with the Caloocan Schools Division Office, has launched a program offering free laboratory testing for public school teachers. The said tests will be available at the Caloocan City Medical Center (CCMC) and Caloocan City North Medical Center (CCNMC) beginning on Tuesday, June 13.

Likewise, the free testing is aligned with Mayor Along’s initiative to provide additional services for public school teachers, on top of the accessible healthcare provided by the local government to its constituents.

CCMC Medical Director and Hospital Administrator Dr. Fernando Santos expressed his deepest gratitude towards Mayor Along for his initiative.

Mayor Along stressed that the local government’s effort to improve healthcare in the city is part of his larger goal of improving the quality of life for Caloocan citizens.

More than 1050 teachers in South Caloocan and 750 teachers in North Caloocan are expected to benefit from the said program. The tests include a complete blood count (CBC), urinalysis, and chest x-ray.
