Yllana Marie Aduana, a stunning native of Siniloan, Laguna was named Miss Philippines Earth 2023 during the finals held in Toledo City, Cebu on Saturday night.
Aduana, 24, is a model and a graduate of Clinical Laboratory Science at Centro Escolar University. She works as Medical Technologist and Drug Test Analyst.
“I would definitely say that our generation, although misconstrued as very ardent, I would like to say that we use our voices for a reason and that is to speak up for the things that we know are right and for the things that we know we deserve,” Aduana answered when asked, “What do you think people in the future would say about your generation?” during the Top 5 Q&A round.
Aduana is pursuing her advocacy called E.A.R.T.H. (Environmental Awareness and Action to Restore and Transcend Home) Education, in partnership with the NGO Edukasyon for Every Juan.
Kerri Reilly was named Miss Philippines Air 2023 while Jemimah Joy Zabala won Miss Philippines Water 2023. Sha’uri Livori finished as Miss Philippines Fire 2023 and Athena Auxillo took the Miss Philippines Eco Tourism 2023 title.
Aduana was crowned by outgoing Miss Philippines Earth 2022 Jenny Ramp and will represent the country at the Miss Earth 2023 to be held in Vietnam.
Named in the Top 10 were Queenie Salac, KC Falcasantos, Ma. Cristina Tallador, Cea de Jesus, and Princes Lazaga. Included in the Top 15 were Jamie Angelique Armada, Fermizulli Silal, Chrystel Mae Correos Carrascal, Jeica Czaverika Dimatatac, and Meri Lasil Relevo.
