AI-powered recruitment seen as new norm by 2023

Artificial intelligence-aided recruitment will be the norm in 2023 because it will help recruiters automate certain aspects of the recruitment process and predict who among applicants are a perfect fit for a particular job.

Alejandro Coca, head of business at TrueProfile.io, a platform that provides Filipino healthcare professionals around the world with the tools they need to secure a lucrative career abroad said recruiting through AI accelerates the hiring process and mitigates risks as employers have the full picture on who their new hires are.

Looking to technology to provide solutions can expedite the hiring process, he said. “At TrueProfile.io, for instance, our members have the ability to store their verified credentials on blockchain, which can be safely and securely shared with potential employers so that they have complete assurance of their professional qualifications and credentials,” he said.

The entity’s database has a system called Matic, a side chain of the Ethereum blockchain, that has a ‘verify once, valid forever’ methodology to provide added value for all stakeholders when it comes to healthcare hiring.

Coca said the new norm in recruitment process began after the pandemic waned this year. “As a result, many countries, regulators and facilities saw the need to bolster their workforce across the board to help accommodate for shortages that existed pre-pandemic as well as dealing with the overwhelming backlog of non-urgent appointments, treatments and surgeries,” he said.
