It’s all systems go for the biggest nationwide online medical mission, “National mWellness Day,” on August 27 to 28, mounted by Metro Pacific Investments Corporation’s health app, mWell.

Fully endorsed by all the celebrity mothers who have pledged their full support to the mWell advocacy right from the start, the  “National mWellness Day” brings together volunteer doctors and health practitioners nationwide to provide free online consultation to Filipinos from all parts of the country.

This advocacy initiative is part of MPIC’s sustainability mission to bring healthcare closer to more Filipinos nationwide.

The annual event, which began in September 2021, is built on compassion that cures. Using digital technology through the mWell PH app, access to healthcare is made more convenient, just like any on-ground face-to-face medical mission but from the comfort and security of your home.

This year, as our countrymen rebuild their lives in the new normal, primary care, specialized doctors and mental health experts will be a few taps away, ready to provide much-needed medical advice. Booking fees and doctor fees will be waived from August 27 to 28.

On top of the free consultation, the first one hundred patients will receive vitamin vouchers from MedExpress and Watsons, with free shipping. They will also be given free laboratory exams including x-ray and complete blood count, and emergency outpatient coverage valid for one year.

Chaye Cabal-Revilla, Chief Finance, Risk and Sustainability Officer of MPIC, said that this advocacy shows mWell’s compassion in action, “Healthcare is a basic right. Our advocacy of bringing healthcare closer to more Filipinos is part of our sustainability anchor. We are truly passionate about making a difference in the lives of our countrymen through our responsive, highly convenient platform.” National mWellness Day is in support of the MVP Group’s Gabay Kalusugan advocacy focusing on quality and affordable healthcare.

MPIC President, Chairman and CEO, Manny V. Pangilinan says, “Filipinos now have better access to healthcare through mWell’s integrated digital healthcare ecosystem with a wide and sustainable network of medical experts and services.”

Along with hundreds of volunteer doctors nationwide, National mWellness Day is supported by top insurance companies—PhilCare and Generali, pharmacy partners MedExpress and Watsons, mental health experts from Mind Nation, doctors from Makati Medical Center Foundation and Makati Medical Center Wellness Center. MPIC Foundation is also in full support of the advocacy. mWell’s diverse partnerships give better access to healthcare for all as a fully integrated healthcare platform.
