Department of Science and Technology Secretary Fortunato de la Pena and Undersecretary Sancho Mabborang lead the oathtaking of the newly-appointed Region 2 regional director Virginia Bilgera and Caraga regional director Noel Ajoc. Mabborang extended his congratulations to both RDs and reminded them to never forget their roots as they take on this new role. Secretary de la Pena emphasized the responsibilities that come with the position and lauded the development and progress that exist in their respective regions. Future plans on the innovation of science and technology in the countryside are well underway.
