Ceres Transport Inc. one of the companies owned and managed by the Yanson Group of Bus Companies, said Monday it is optimistic about its operations this year despite the pandemic.
Leo Rey V. Yanson, who was re-elected director of CTI, said the company was committed to provide the riding public with the most reliable means of public transportation amid the challenges of the pandemic.
Other re-elected directors were Olivia V. Yanson, Ginnette Y. Dumancas, Charles M. Dumancas, Rey C. Ardo, Daniel Nicolas P. Golez, Arvin John V. Villaruel, Anita G. Chua, Joseph Ellery L. Villanueva, Hernan B. Omecillo and Alfredo O. Ligo.
“Stockholders Roy V. Yanson and Ricardo V. Yanson Jr. were absent despite due notices sent to them,” CTI said in a statement.
A Bacolod City court, in an October 2021 decision, granted Olivia the mandate to oversee and administer the estate of her late husband Ricardo Yanson, who co-founded the Yanson Group of Bus Companies with Olivia in 1968.
