Pascual, who has been spending time in his Batangas residence during this pandemic, said that this is the first of the many projects of the partylist that he will be supporting.

“I am thankful to have been part of this initiative by Ang Probinsyano Partylist. Environmental issues are close to my heart, and I consider Batangas my home now. I fully support the partylist’s call for everyone to act now and act fast,” the 45-year-old actor stated.

He added that he will also be active in helping out with the partlylist’s outreach projects in Manila and nearby provinces in the coming months.

According to Congressman Alfred delos Santos of Ang Probinsyano Partylist,  “We welcome the support of Mr. Piolo Pascual in our projects. Rural development is one of our main advocacies. We believe that a clean environment leads to better tourism opportunities for the community,  therefore improving the livelihood of our kababayans.  We look forward to working closely with him, hoping to inspire our kababayans to also take part in projects such as this cleanup drive.”

Meanwhile, the local tourism office of Mabini said that they are grateful for the collaboration with Ang Probinsyano Partylist, emphasizing that they will continue with the regular coastal and underwater cleanup projects despite the pandemic.
