PhilWeb Corp. announced Thursday the election of Brian Ng as new president effective February 1, 2020.
Ng will replace Dennis Valdes, who resigned and will be moving to Alphaland Corp., the real estate company of businessman Roberto Ongpin.
Ng is currently senior vice president for gaming, a post he has held since joining the company in January 2011. He was formerly connected with Affinity Express Philippines Inc., RR Donnelley Global Outsourcing, SPi, and the Print Town Group of Companies.
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the Ateneo de Manila University and an MBA from the Ateneo de Manila Graduate School of Business.

His capable handling of our gaming operations over the past years gives us great confidence that he will bring fresh ideas and renewed energy to the task of propelling PhilWeb to new heights, especially as we continue our dual push in e-casino and e-bingo,” Valdes said.
PhilWeb had 89 electronic gaming outlets as of end of 2019, either directly owned or under management control, comprising of 66 e-Games and 23 e-bingo branches.
PhilWeb is an accredited service provider to Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. for its network of electronic gaming outlets. Its wholly-owned subsidiaries include BigGame Inc. and Easy E-Bingo Inc., which operate e-Games and e-bingo outlets respectively.
Philweb in the first nine months of 2019 reported a net loss of P26.79 million, significantly down from a loss of P70.84 million year-on-year.
Nine-month gross revenues rose to P394.9 million from P296.9 million in 2018.
