Christmas pigs

More than 150 poor children from Barangay Batasan Hills Quezon City received a Christmas pig full of coins as part of Minxie Romualdez’s outreach program for the poor children. Minxie started her advocacy in 2017 after she donated her savings on her piggy bank to poor patients of the Philippine General Hospital. Happy Calatrava, Jude Acidre, lawyer Peachy Marcos and Brgy. Chairman Jojo Abad assisted the distribution of the Christmas pigs. Mixie Romualdez is the daughter of Majority Leader and Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez and Tingog Party-list Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez. Most of the Christmas pigs come from the children of the congressmen who wish to share kindness, joy and hope this Christmas.
