The U-Bix Group’s local company said it expects a 15-percent growth in revenues to P2.64 billion this year from P2.3 billion in 2018, amid strong demand for excellent copying systems despite the push to a paperless economy.

U-Bix group director May Ann Bravo-Civil said the incremental growth in revenue would come from the company’s core businesses in photocopying systems and from the professional management business.

“Despite the increasing reach and influence of digital technology, I believe the company still remains relevant. A testament to this is the continuing increase of our annual revenues. This means that our products and services are still relevant,” she said in a news briefing Thursday.

U-Bix Corp., one of the two core businesses of the group, generated P1.2 billion in revenues in 2018 while sister company Facilities Managers Inc. announced revenues of P1.1 billion, a 29-percent increase from 2017.
