“We are thrilled to extend our partnership with our long-standing partner, FOX Networks Group Asia,” said UFC Vice President APAC, Kevin Chang. “This agreement allows us to continue serving our passionate fans in the Philippines with the premier MMA programming in the world. The popularity of MMA continues to grow across Asia with UFC’s fan base in the Philippines increasing at an exponential rate. UFC social media accounts have also experienced tremendous growth over the past five years. With Facebook fans growing +107% and YouTube subscribers increasing by +1200%, these massive surges in consumer engagement illustrate the strength in UFC’s brand and the opportunity for further growth in the market.”

“We are very pleased to announce this long-term rights agreement with UFC. Customer Feedback has shown that there is an increasing demand for UFC in the Philippines. We are excited to give the Philippine audience another strong reason to download FOX+, now the home of all UFC events,” said Jude Turcuato, Senior Vice President & General Manager of FOX Networks Group Philippines.

UFC’s commitment to the Asia-Pacific region has driven exponential brand growth with increases in fandom, live events, and local MMA talent. Last month, UFC announced it will open the world’s largest MMA training facility in Asia, offering professional athletes of all disciplines in the region the opportunity to hone their skills and push the boundaries of athletic performance at the UFC Performance Institute Shanghai®.
