The lost Kingdom of Lupah Sūg has been restored and its new government is now in effect following the first flag raising last Sunday.
Raja Mohammad Ghamar Mamay Hasan Abdurajak and Queen Maria Makiling Helen Fatima Nasaria Panolino Abdurajak of the Royal Imperial Lupah Sūg Islamic United Kingdom of Sulu and North Borneo graced the flag raising ceremony attended by residents predominantly Moslems.
The Kingdom of Lupah Sug, which predates the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo, is situated in Kanaway Lungan, Gitong Parang, Sulu, which is still part of the Republic of the Philippines.
“Raising their flag again was the momentous occasion for the people of Lupah Sug,” said Raja Mohammad Ghamar.
Lupah Sug is being considered as the Vatican of Rome, Italy; Luxemburg of France and Timor Leste of Indonesia.
The restored country has an Official Seal, Flag, Standing Army and fixed territory under the name of the Federal Republic of Lupah Sug which include Mindanao, Sulu and Palawan for the Philippines, Sabah and Sarawak for the Federation of Malaysia and Kalimantan and Bulungan for Indonesia.
