After a nine-month absence in the market, Specialized Philippines is back.

Now in partnership with Gruppo Innovare Corporation, the authorized and appointed distributor of Specialized Bicycle Components in the Philippines, a Specialized Elite Store opened last Wednesday at the SM by the Bay, Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

“We hope to serve the riders here,” said managing director Jacinto Laure Gavino following an opening ceremony with Sales Director Ritchie Santayana, Gino Abano, Commercial Director of Specialized SESA, and Hideki Mochizuki, Marketing Director for Asia.

The store takes pride in being the first Specialized Elite Store at the SM by the Bay.

They believe that the area is a perfect location because of the big presence of bikers and that it has become a haven for the biking community, especially in the morning.

Specialized has strived to make the best bikes for riders since 1974. They have rolled out various Specialized bike products like the Venge, which is considered  the fastest road bike.

Gavino said they will have the best sellers like the Tarmac, the lightest race bike ever made by the brand.

The Tarmac, as a road bike, is designed for climbing uphill terrain.

They also have the Allez series, an aluminum bike built to be lighter than the carbon-framed bikes–another bestseller.

“The Philippine riding community can expect the best one-stop bike shop experience the moment they walk in our store,” said Santayana.

The store also has something to offer those who love off-road riding–the Stumpjumper, which is the brand’s most versatile trail bike.

Then’s there’s and the Turbo Levo and Kenevo, which is a pair of e-mountain bikes built to give riders the power to ride more trails.

Gavino said they will cater mostly road and triathlon riders.

“Most of the products are really for them. But, as distributors, we have access to a full range of products,” added Gavino.

The Specialized Elite Store in SM by the Bay is the first of three Specialized concept stores to open.

Branches in Pasig and Maginhawa St. in Quezon City are the other new stores opening for 2018.
