In a five-page inquest resolution, the DoJ ordered the filing of a case of robbery against Senior Police Officer 4 Serafin Adante, PO1 Rey Harvey A. Florano, PO1 Ryan Paul E. Antimaro who are all assigned at Precinct 8, and a civilian, Amado Baldon Jr.

The four respondents were arrested in an entrapment operation after receiving a tip from a junk shop employee. They were caught receiving P200 marked money from the employee.

The employee said the police officers collect P200 to P500 daily from junkshop operators in the area.

He identified a certain Police Senior Inspector Adonis Paul G. Escamillan as the one who required them to pay the said “fee” otherwise they will be harassed.
