To prevent theft of electric meters, the Manila Electric Co. has installed the meters on top of a pole for its clients in Barangay 410, Zone 42 in Sampaloc, Manila. Residents say that instead of climbing the pole, Meralco’s meter readers use binoculars instead. Ed Usapdin
