Rowena Macatao is the new executive director of the Quezon City Anti-Drug Abuse Advisory Council, Mayor Herbert Bautista announced recently.
Macatao, who will continue her roles as chief of staff of the Office of the Vice Mayor and officer-in-charge of the QC Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center or Tahanan, now leads the city government’s policymaking council toward establishing and maintaining a drug-free Quezon City.

Her appointment, provided for under Office Order 7 issued by Bautista on Jan. 30, was made “in the interest of service and for the effective formulation of the plans and programs of the QCADAAC.”
