Money for firearms

CLAVERIA, Misamis Oriental—Two former New People’s Army rebels who surrendered to the Philippine Army’s 58th Infantry Battalion have received a total of P166,000 in Fire Arm Cost Remuneration from this province’s Comprehensive Local Integration Program.

Provincial Board Member Gerardo Sabal III handed the checks to the rebels witnessed by Department of Interior and Local Government Provincial Director Edward Bagwani, Emelia Andea of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, 403rd Brigade Commander Col. Eric Vinoya, and 58th IB Commander LTC Francis Carandang.
