Blade to stage car show and music extravaganza

Blade Autocenter, the country’s premier automotive accessories retail and lifestyle store is bringing something back to the people by way of staging a two-day music festival on May 19-20 at the Metrowalk grounds in Pasig City. 

Dubbed as “Bandang Blade” the music extravaganza also aims to bring together car and music enthusiasts. “This event is a first of its kind motoring music festival. It is a car show, concert, DJ party, tattoo, sneaker fest and much more,” says Robertson Tan,  President of Blade. Bands expected to perform during the concert are Gloc9, Rocksteddy, Color it Red, Mobbstarr, Robin Nievera and Paulo Santos. It will also coincide with an album launch, the Bandang Blade CD which will be available in music stores nationwide. “It’s a celebration of summer, good music and fantastic looking cars all in one venue. This will be an annual music festival,” adds Tan. 

Established in 2004, Blade Auto Center is the largest chain of car accessories shops in the country with over 50 stores nationwide. They have carved a niche in the aftermarket industry with its extensive line of affordable automotive accessories and car care products that ranges from car audio-video down to air fresheners. Blade offers globally recognized brands in its retail chain such as Sparco, OMP, Goodyear, Polaroid and Chupa Chups. “The brands we carry are all licensed and Blade is an official distributor of the aforementioned brands. All branded merchandise that we carry are original and licensed,” explains Tan. For brands such as Sparco, OMP and Goodyear, Blade caters to the consumer line of automotive products such as air compressors, seat belt pads, and car floor mats. 

The Bandang Blade music festival is organized by Blade in partnership with Fubu and Ladder Entertainment. General admission is P100.00 and P500.00 will include access to the car show, music fest on the first night and DJ party on the second night.
