Cutting-edge camera

The new Reno 10x Zoom introduces the 10x hybrid zoom and the 60x digital zoom, the first ever in the smartphone industry.

Reno boasts of the Reno 10x zoom, Dolby Atmos speakers and Amoled panoramic screens.

Meanwhile, the more affordable OPPO Reno will not have the 10x zoom capacity, but will be replaced by a dual-camera system which has a 48MP and an additional 5MP.

Both units feature OPPO’s Ultra Night Mode 2.0, that has AI portrait optimization suitable for night photography and produces good photos even in low-light conditions.

Its artistic portrait mode has five bokeh or blur effects.

As for video recording, it can capture 4k UHD videos with 60 frames per second.

The two smartphones also feature pop-up selfie cameras designed like a shark fin that automatically recedes when it detects a drop. The front camera takes 0.8 milliseconds to appear.

These pop-up front cameras enable the Reno series to have a notchless design, a characteristic that is also featured in the previous generations of OPPO phones such as Find X.

The Reno 10x zoom and the standard Reno phone have a 6.6-inch and 6.4-inch Amoled screens, respectively.

The two phones have a 93.1 percent screen-to-body ratio, with ultra thin bezels that offer a panoramic screen to the users, paired with a hidden fingerprint security feature that has been upgraded for faster unlocking.

Audio 3D

The Reno lineup makes use of Dolby Atmos speakers that allow an audio 3D feature and an audio zoom that innovates the hearing experience.

If turned on, the audio 3D mode directs the phone to recognize the source of the sound, thus producing a clearer audio.

The 10x Zoom has a 4065mAh battery, while the standard phone has 3765mAh. Both smartphones, in addition, have the VOOC 3.0 fast charging, which increases charging speed by 100 percent.

The Reno 10x Zoom costs P45,990, while the standard OPPO Reno is priced at P26,990.
