Elecom headphones feature Mesamune design

ANIME has evolved into a key element of Philippine otaku pop culture. Animé enthusiasts, both young and old alike, follow the stories, characters and even the soundtracks of their favorite animé.

Elecom, Japan’s number one innovative mobile, tablet and PC solutions provider, is giving Filipino animé music enthusiasts a treat as it celebrates its 30th year. It has partnered with Shirow Masamune or Masanori Ota, renowned Japanese manga artist behind “Appleseed” and “Ghost in the Shell,” to design the EHP-SL100M Series and the EHP-SH1000 Series of headphones. Not only do these products satisfy fans’ thirst for animé songs, they also complement their animé-inspired street fashion.

EHP-SL100M Series for that instant animé fix

“Ghost in the Shell” fans can now effortlessly channel Motoko Kusanagi’s spunky and sexy style with the EHP-SL100M Series Stereo Headphones. The stylish headphones are designed with optimal tuning to deliver anime songs with clear, low and relaxed audio. Users will definitely be whisked away to Niihama City as they listen to “Nightstalker.”

The headphones feature a neodymium magnet for sharp bass and a high-stiffness diaphragm for rich low-frequency and distinctive high-frequency audio. They can suppress negative sound vibrations and achieve less linear output characteristic distortion.

Designed to fit tightly in both ears, the EHP-SL100M Series Stereo Headphones reduce ambient noise so commuting animé fans can enjoy their favorite soundtracks even during train and bus rides on the way to work or school. Users can choose from three ear cap sizes to ensure a perfect fit. They can connect the headphones to their phones or audio devices inside their bags with the 1.2-meter cord, which comes with a slider for easy storage.

EHP-SH1000 Series keeps you pumped up

Animé music enthusiasts will definitely get pumped up listening to Boom Boom Satellites’ “Dive for You” on their EHP-SH1000 Series Headphones. Packed with two dynamic 11.6mm drivers, the headphones deliver high-resolution audio in a wider audio range from low, midrange to the super-high spectrum. A neodymium magnet produces a dynamic low-range sound while a lightweight voice coil improves vibration response and produces clear audio. The headphones have a donut-shaped ball piece for a powerful bass output.

The EHP-SH1000 headphones use a high-rigidity aluminum housing to suppress unwanted vibration and come with two types of detachable cables, a leather case and a cable organizer.

The EHP-SL100M and EHP-SH1000 headphones are available at all Elecom outlets in SM Fairview, SM North Edsa, SM Marikina, SM Southmall and Solenad, and all Urbanize Outlets at U.P. Town Center, Gateway, Shangri-La, Glorietta 3, Uptown BGC, Venice Grand Canal, Kiss & Fly NAIA Terminal 3, Alabang Town Center, The District-Imus, Solenad and Serin Tagaytay.
