MICROSOFT recently announced, the global availability of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, delivering new experiences for more than 500 million Windows 10 devices.

The new features include improved Windows Inking; enabling users to immerse themselves in the world of Windows Mixed Reality; as well as creative experiences that will move with you across Windows, iOS, and Android platforms.

“We’re excited for everyone to experience the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, which offers a host of improved functions that boost creativity,” said Christian Lim, Microsoft Philippines Chief Marketing and Chief Operating Officer. “Our goal is to ignite a new wave of creativity and to motivate customers to think outside the box with greater capabilities.”

Windows Inking keeps getting better, and with the Fall Creators Update, users can now set ideas in motion or get important tasks done with aplomb as the feature now allows individuals to ink directly onto Word docs, PowerPoint slides, PDF files and OneNote with your digital pen.

Smart Ink also applies artificial intelligence which helps users strike through words to make them disappear, circle text to select it, highlight with precision, and transform drawings into shapes with just one touch.

Furthermore, users can enhance learning and problem-solving experience by using Windows Ink and OneNote together. Simply write a mathematical equation and OneNote for Windows 10 will solve it instantly.

Windows Mixed Reality: See your digital

creations in the real world

Windows Mixed Reality combines physical and digital worlds, and is a next step in the evolution of human computing. Microsoft will bring a mixed reality system that will help users fully immerse in the experience not just limited to a mobile device screen size.

However, the experience is not just restricted for headsets that will support Windows Mixed Realty. For starters, Paint 3D enables users to expand their creativity and create powerful visuals to bring to their presentations and reports. With the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, Microsoft continues to push the boundaries of 3D modelling by adding the magic of Mixed Reality Viewer.

With Mixed Reality Viewer, users can now see 3D objects —either creations from Paint 3D or from the Remix3D.com community—mixed into actual surroundings through the camera built into Windows devices. Simply snap and create a compelling story that draws everyone into an interactive and immersive world.

 Shared experiences across Windows,

iOS, and Android

The Microsoft Graph is an intelligent fabric that helps connect dots between people, conversations, projects, and content within the Microsoft Cloud. Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will tap into the power of the Microsoft Graph to enable users to connect their experiences seamlessly between Windows, iOS, and Android devices.

In addition, users can look forward to these new features in the Update that will help them break down creativity barriers by making it simpler to bring their creations across platforms:

OneDrive Files on Demand allows access to all files in the cloud without having to download them and use storage space on a specific device.

With Cortana, you can Pick Up Where You Left Off across Windows, iOS and Android devices.

Timeline[1] allows users to jump back in time with a visual timeline that displays what a user was doing previously and easily hop back into files, apps and websites as if it was real time.

For individuals who like ambient music while they are creating, iTunes is coming to the Windows Store by the end of 2017. Windows users will get the complete iTunes experience, including Apple Music and the iTunes Store, as well as support for iPhone and other Apple devices on any Windows 10 or Windows 10 S PC.

Modern devices bring the power of creativity to life

Our partners will also bring to market new Windows 2-in-1s, laptops, all-in-ones, and gaming PCs that will feature Intel’s latest 8th generation processors, including the latest NVIDIA graphics cards that enable Windows Mixed Reality experiences, deliver all-day battery life, and offer high-definition screens for the most stunning visuals and more.
