ACER has unveiled a number of new models and products that have been made to be more convenient for all kinds of work-related activities and hobbies in a global press conference held in Berlin, Germany last Aug. 30.

Their new iterations includes laptops, PC parts for gaming, Projectors, 360Ëš cameras, projectors and Pet Care devices in which most of them are powered by Intel’s latest innovations: the 8th Generation Intel Core processor and Intel Core i9 Extreme Edition processors for gaming.

To give a more enjoyable viewing experience, Acer also had speakers installed that are powered by Acer TrueHarmony and Dolby Audio Premium as well as NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and 1080Ti graphics for the display.

Most of their new models are laptops that are convertible and detachable to tablet mode or tent mode. These are the Swift 5, Switch 7, Spin 5 and Nitro 5 Spin.

Swift 5 is the lightest laptop Acer has ever made, weighing less than one kilogram and comes with a backlit keyboard to make sure that its user can also work at night.

Switch 7 is also one of Acer’s firsts as this detachable notebook has a fanless structure made possible by Acer Liquidloop cooling technology. It is the first of their products to have a kickstand installed for better adjustment of display angle.

The Spin 5 and Nitro 5 Spin Notebook both have better graphics and front-facing speakers. However, the Nitro 5 is designed for all kinds of PC games whether it uses a keyboard or a touchscreen for the controls.

Acer also showed their Chromebook 15 laptop that has a 15.6-inch display, two upward speakers and a 12-hour battery life. The laptop also has a fanless structure that creates less noise from the device and can access apps from the Google Play Store.

The company revealed their Desktop PC lines as they introduced Aspire 24 and the latest PC Gaming set for the Predator series.

Aspire 24 is an all-in-one desktop that is only 5.97 mm thin with only a 2.7 mm bezel that brings a 90-percent screen-to body ratio. The PC can also provide a wireless charging system for smartphones as it comes with a charging base for Qi-enabled mobile devices.

The new Predator gaming set includes Cestus 500 (Gaming Mouse), Galea 500 (Gaming Headset), Orion 9000 (Gaming Desktop), and X35 (Gaming Monitor).

To ensure an unhindered playing experience, Predator Orion 9000 is installed with Intel Core i9 Extreme Edition processor that includes 18 cores, 36 threads and up to 4-way AMD Radeon RX Vega graphics or two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti graphics in SLI. Predator Galea has Acer’s TrueHarmony 3D Soundscape technology as audio frequencies are now in sync with the user’s head movements, making the player feel like he’s in the game.

Acer Holo360 and Vision 360 Cameras are the company’s new 360Ëš cameras. The Holo360 can not only take pictures and record videos in high definition, it can also be used for livestreaming as it is accessible to LTE connectivity.
