Brother Philippines set up shop in the country in 2000, with corporate offices in Makati. The company then moved its headquarters to BGC (Bonifacio Global City), which also houses a service center catering to fixing all Brother products—from printers, multi-function centers, fax machines, label-makers, and typewriters.
To further demonstrate Brother PH’s commitment to its customers in the Philippines, extension offices were put up in key cities all over the country. These offices serve as the local headquarters, as training venues for local promodizers, and as service centers for customers thereby ensuring customers access to excellent before and after sales service.
To date, there are six company-owned extension offices put up in the following areas: Cebu in 2005, Davao in 2008, Cagayan de Oro in 2009, Naga in 2010, Pampanga in 2012, and most recently, Iloilo in May 2018.
Further strengthening Brother PH’s presence in the country are 200 accredited service centers (ASCs) nationwide—from Aparri down to Zamboanga—one of the biggest service networks for any technology brand in the country.
Brother PH President Glenn P. Hocson said customers can look forward to their opening of more extension offices in the coming years as the company seeks to continue to grow its service network and reach more Brother customers.
“We hope that our customers will be more confident with their purchase of the company’s innovative products knowing that there is a Brother local office that can help them maximize the use, as well as maintain their machines,” Hocson said.
Notably, in its early years, Brother PH gained a following when it came up with the innovative idea of turning the fax machine into a printer and the winning strategy of being present in IT stores. In more recent years, Brother has introduced high speed laser and Inkjet models, multi-function centers with wireless connection, and the Philippines’ first LED and A3 printers, among others.
