Allianz, HSBC celebrate 2nd year of strategic partnership

Two of the world’s largest financial services companies Allianz PNB Life and HSBC Insurance Brokers Inc. have entered the second year of strengthened strategic partnership in the country.

Equipped with well-resourced teams and a global research network, Allianz brings deep knowledge on financial protection investment and risk management to help Filipinos make better-informed choices.

According to Dr. Olaf Kliesow, chief executive officer and president of Allianz PNB Life, “Our primary mission is to provide sound financial advice to empower Filipinos in their decision-making. We are embarking on an exciting second year journey as we seize market opportunities for our growing clientele in HSBC.”

Focused on providing financial solutions and catering to all client needs, HSBC is banking on the prospects of tapping the large, young Filipino population seeking professional advice and an established network of clients always on the lookout for exceptional investment opportunities.

We’ve received very encouraging results with the performance of our first year of partnership with Allianz. This year, we are looking forward to offering new investment opportunities to ensure the quality of life for generations to come. The partnership will continue to allow Filipino investors to benefit from HSBC’s deep understanding of the Filipino market and from Allianz’s experience with supporting investors in Asia’s fast-growing markets,” said Wick Veloso, President and Chief Executive Officer, HSBC Philippines.

On its second year, Allianz is offering another exclusive product to HSBC clients, the AZpire Plus Series, which is a collection of regular-pay unit-linked life insurance products created to deliver the fastest fund accumulation in the market. The three product innovations under AZpire include: AZpire Growth Plus for clients seeking to grow wealth and future-proof their finances; AZpire Wiz Plus for parents to plan ahead their children’s education, helping them fulfill their potential, and limit the strain on family finances; and AZpire Peak Plus for investors wanting to maintain their quality of life after retirement as well as protect the wealth they have accumulated over the years.
Allianz, one of the world's largest investors, handles over €650 billion on behalf of its insurance customers, while its asset managers Allianz Global Investors and PIMCO manage an additional €1.4 trillion of third-party assets.

HSBC, on the other hand, is one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organizations, with assets amounting to US$2,652 billion as at 31 March 2018.
