Ayala Land wins big at the 52nd Anvil Awards

Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) and its subsidiaries won four Gold Awards and three Silver Awards for outstanding communications programs at the 52ndAnvil Awards of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP).

ALI was awarded the Gold Anvil Award for its official internal magazine Groundbreakers 2016: What connects us all, which is released annually. The particular issue was created to highlight company milestones and inspire employees to incorporate its core values of excellence and integrity in everyday operations.

Ayala Malls also received Gold Awards for its Little Free Library, Blooms, and World Street Congress 2016 programs.  The malls group furthered its literacy and reading advocacies by partnering with US-based organization, Little Free Library, to create libraries inside various Ayala Malls and refocus the public’s attention back to the joys of reading. Its Blooms project, on the other hand, filled the malls’ open spaces with colorful flowers and native plants not only for aesthetic purposes but to help promote sustainable green living in the country.  In addition to these, the World Street Food Congress was an international five-day street food festival held in the Philippines for the first time.

ALI won Silver Anvil Awards as well for Avida Land’s Tunog Natin program and Tunog Natin CD which promoted Original Pilipino Music, and the Ayala Land Corporate Video entitled Every Day.

Meanwhile, the Bonifacio Art Foundation Inc. (BAFI) was awarded a Gold Anvil for its ArtBGC Mural Festival which featured mural paintings that livened up the streets of Bonifacio Global City and promoted a sense of community through public art.  BAFI implements the art programs of ALI’s affiliate, Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation.

Ayala Land’s win at the 52nd Anvil Awards symbolizes its commitment to create programs that promote sustainability, nurture communities, and fulfill its vision of enhancing land and enriching lives for more people. 

Presented annually by the PRSP, the Anvil is the symbol of excellence in public relations and is awarded to outstanding public relations programs, tools and practitioners after careful screening by select PR professionals and judging by a distinguished multi-sectoral jury.
