THE Province of Masbate recently adopted “Climate Smart” measures in a forum facilitated by the Climate Change Commission to help make it resilient to the impact of climate change.

Spearheaded by Vice Governor Kaye Revil, the event dubbed “Leadership for Climate Resilient Development” communicated the requirements of the CCC on how to tap financial resources from the People’s Survival Fund Tutelage and the Food-Energy-Water (F-E-W) Nexus System.

The first of its kind in the country, the event is supported by the Harvard Kennedy School Alumni Association of the Philippines led by Glenn S. Banaguas, the Harvard Club of the Philippines led by Jose Buenaflor Jimenez III, the Development Academy of the Philippines led by Liza Makinano, the Environmental and Climate Change Research Institute, and Global Green Growth Institute led by Marlene Vinluan.
