Aiming to be one of the frontrunners in innovation, Muntinlupa’s initiative in government efficiency has been recognized by the Development Academy of the Philippines as one of the best practices in the country.

The Single Window Transaction-Muntinlupa Business One Stop Shop (SWiT-MBOSS) is among the initiatives showcased in the Compendium of Innovation and Productivity Initiatives of DAP’s Center of Excellence on Public Sector Productivity under the Innovation Leadership and Service Quality categories.

DAP is the focal organization and implementing institution of the Center of Excellence on Public Sector Productivity under the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) which aim to promote innovation and productivity in public sector organizations in Asia and the Pacific region.

The SWiT-MBOSS, implemented by Muntinlupa Business Permits and Licensing Office, is an innovative single-interface business registration process consisting of three simple steps with one and the same staff from start to end of the transaction.

With this initiative, total processing time of transactions is shortened to around 15 minutes for applications with complete set of requirements.
