Cloud-first culture and Cybersecurity

Ever since the advent of Cloud, businesses in the country have changed in the way they operate since it is simple to use and it gives a platform that stores, analyzes and calculates data.

Globe's Chief Technology and Information officer, Mr. Gil Genio, discussed how businesses can protect their information and privacy.

Globe Business expanded its suite of solutions and became the first telco to offer Amazon Web Services, one of the renowned pioneers of Cloud Technology, that are aimed to provide enterprises with greater scalability, agility, and ease of collaboration among its workforce.

It further offers a set of cloud-based business applications such as G-suite and GoCanvas to maximize productivity and flexibility inside the company. Moreover, the AWS Catalog Services also allows the user to build their own business environment.

The adoption of cloud services also carries heavy security risks. In protecting the reputation and privacy of organizations, Globe has also partnered with Trustwave that can follow online threats and deliver proactive security services.

“As an enterprise, we also have access to critical information about our customers and as a responsible company, we need to protect that by ensuring that we have the right cybersecurity tools in place to fight evolving threats that may compromise our data, jeopardize our operations, and most importantly impact our customers,” said Ernest Cu, Globe President and CEO.

Globe Business also aims to help companies achieve its goals and fuel the growth of its country’s economy. Its breakthrough solutions pioneer in enabling a smooth transition to digitalization.

“We want our clients to know that we can help them manage risks and strengthen digital trust to make their brands more successful in the 21st century,” Maquera said.
