The most anticipated annual mother’s day event of Whirlpool, the world’s leading manufacturer of quality home appliances, was recently at the Cash & Carry Mall last May 19, 2018.
Now on its 7th year, “Because You Are a Whirlpool Mom” is a Mother’s Day event designed by Whirlpool as their way to thank and pay tribute to all Whirlpool Moms for their love, trust and support for the brand.
“This event is our way of recognizing loyal Whirlpool moms who have found a true partner with Whirlpool and have made our products a part of their homes,” said Joy Catiis-Cruz, Marketing Manager of Whirlpool Philippines.
The fun-filled afternoon featured cooking demonstrations, awesome raffle prizes, exciting bingo and booth games, physical fitness through Zumba lessons, and a Mommy and Me No-Cook Dessert Making competition.
The said competition declared Mommy Merry Jane Punla and daughter Eljae as the grand champion with their No-Bake Matcha Cheesecake. The 1st and 2nd runners-up were presented to Mommy Maria Luz Rodriguez with son Angelico, and Mommy EhmmalynManrique with daughter Mary Zerene, respectively.
“The concept of the No-Cook Dessert Making contest was intended to help people realize that more than just keeping food fresh, they can also easily create delicious desserts using their Whirlpool refrigerator.
