After a brief stint in show business, real estate heiress Camille Villar is now trying her hand in the retail business. She currently handles the family’s rapidly growing chain of retail stores under All Day Value Holdings Inc.
Camille, who will be the head of marketing of the group’s retail business, was with her senator- father Manuel Villar during the opening of seventh branch of All Home at the corner of Molino Road and Daang Hari in Cavite over the weekend.
Camille will have her hands full, as the Villar Group is making a big move into the domestic retail sector, considered one of the brightest spots in the economy because of rising consumer spending.
After venturing into convenience store business under the brand All Day and home appliances and furnishing depot under All Home, the Villar Group is also building the All Day Supermarket brand and All Day Mini-Mart brand.
The former senator believes that the group’s venture into retail business is a natural progression, of real estate and property development. This was the route taken by other real estate groups such as SM, Robinsons, Filinvest and Ayala Land.
For All Home, the Villar Group is set to open six more outlets this year, with investment of P3 billion.
