CESCA Racraquin unleashed a triple-double performance as she powered San Beda College to a 25-23, 25-14, 22-25, 25-15 win over Mapua yesterday and into a share of the lead with reigning women’s titlist Arellano University in the 93rd NCAA volleyball tournament at the Filoil Arena in San Juan City.

Racraquin was all over the place as she unloaded 19 hits, including 17 on kills while coming through with 17 digs and 13 receptions for her third triple-double of the season that helped the Lady Red Spikers nail their fourth straight triumph and the joint lead with the Lady Chiefs.

Ma. Nieza Viray, Trisha Paras, Satriani Espritu and Maria Jiezela Viray contributed 14, 13, 10 and 10 hits, respectively, to provide Racraquin, who honed her playing by playing both spiker and libero positions for Creamline in the Premier Volleyball League, the needed back up.

The Lady Cardinals skidded to their fourth loss in a row.
