The hard-hitting Filipino is set to defend his belt against Fernandes at ONE: A New Era which emanates from Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan on March 31.

It will be the fourth World Title bout on the already stacked card.

ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong made the announcement on social media this past weekend.

“I am excited to present the trilogy fight between current ONE Bantamweight World Champion Kevin Belingon and former ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes for March 31 in Tokyo,” said Sityodtong.

“Without a doubt, it will be another epic war with big fireworks for the final chapter between two of the world’s greatest martial artists,” he added.

Fernandes submitted Belingon in the opening round the first time they met in 2016, but "the Silencer" came roaring back with seven straight wins to earn his rematch.

In the rematch, Belingon showed stark improvement on the ground as he outworked the longtime World Champion en route to a split decision victory to get his first World Title.

Now, they will meet for the third time at ONE: A New Era.

The event will be headlined by the ONE World Lightweight Title clash between reigning champion Eduard “Landslide” Folayang and Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki.

ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion Angela Lee will be taking on ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion Xiong Jing Nan for the latter's World Title.

Two-division ONE World Champion Aung La N Sang will also be defending his middleweight title against Japanese contender Ken Hasegawa in another rematch.
