Two time Olympian Jasmine Alkhaldi reset the Philippine women’s 50m freestyle national record again.

This time, Alkhaldi did it in the evening finals of the 2019 FINA Swimming World Cup in Singapore on Thursday evening, according to the event’s official website.

Alkhaldi clocked a new best time of 25.64 and placed seventh overall among 60 swimmers.

Last week, she submitted a record time of 25.66 seconds at the Hong Kong Open last week.

This put Alkhaldi closer to the Tokyo Olympics B cut time of 25.51 seconds.

This is the seventh time that Alkhaldi has surpassed this record in this event.

It was six years ago when Alkaldi first broke this record at the Speedo Western Sectionals in USA in 2013.

After that, Alkhaldi reset it at the 2013, 2015 and 2017 SEA Games.

Akiko Thomson and Christel Simms used to hold the marks in this event.
