THE Philippine Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation opens its 1st National Drafting Camp at the Philsports Arena, Pasig City today.
The camp will run until March 10.
Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, Chairman and President of PEKAF, will grace the camp during the closing program to personally congratulate the athletes.
The camp’s participating athletes are all gold medalists of the Individual Forms, Padded Stick, and Live Stick events of the PEKAF National Battle of the Champions held last July 2018.
PEKAF, recognized as the National Sports Association for Arnis by the Philippine Sports Commission, is hosting the National Drafting Camp ahead of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. Athletes who will excel in this camp will be drafted as members of the Philippine National Arnis Team, which will represent the country in the upcoming 2019 SEA Games.
