Pekto Pakutkot of Speedjav Racing Team Baguio City clinched the overall, Production Front Wheel and the novice best time of the day by clocking 44.46 in the second leg of the RACE Motorsports Club Phoenix Pulse Technology Slalom Invitational Challenge held last Aug. 5 at Robinsons Place Calasiao, Pangasinan.
He was followed by teammate Ronz Yuzon, who timed 44.82.
For the Production Rear Wheel, Glen Alfonso of Speedjav Nueva Ecija Racing Team bagged the title with a time of 45.84, followed by Ram Rafanan in the novice category with 46.12
The 2018 RACE Motorsports Club Phoenix Pulse Technology National Slalom Series, with enhanced power and acceleration, is also supported by major sponsors Federal Tyres and 3K Batteries, New SR KYB Special Shock Absorbers, Robinsons Calasiao and Robinsons Malls and supported by Starbright Body Kits, media partners Stoplight TV, C! Magazine, Auto Car Magazine and Power Wheels Magazine.
Different clubs, headed by Wholesome Concpets, Speed Jav, Greenlight La Union and privateers from Tarlac and Pangasinan took part in the invitationals.
The 3rd leg of the Phoenix Pulse Technology Slalom Invitational will be on Oct. 7, again at Robinsons Calasiao Pangasinan.
Meanwhile, the 7th leg of the 2018 Phoenix Pulse Technology National Slalom Series is on Aug. 19 at Robinsons Novaliches.
The 8th leg is on Sept. 9 at NFA Compound Cabanatuan City, while the 9th leg is set on Sept. 22 and 23 at Athletic Bowl Baguio City.
