SANTA Clara Stockfarm is on a roll.

Radioactive, one of SC Stockfarm’s stars in its elite stable of horses, ruled the 44th Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office Silver Cup last June 11 at the San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite.

The 4-year-old Radioactive, ridden by John Alvin Guce, bested the 10-participant field in the annual 2,000-meter race reserved for local horses.

The duo of Radioactive and Jockey Guce timed two minutes and seven seconds in the long race, which has RP Healthcraft Carrier Foundation Inc. (Hospital on Wheels) as its beneficiary.

On behalf of SC Stockfarm horseowner Oliver Velasquez, winning trainer Chito Santos received the trophy from PCSO Racing Committee Chairman Conrado Zabella.

The PCSO Silver Cup win by Radioactive was just one of SC Stockfarm’s string of victories in just a month.

SC Stockfarm’s Selfie ruled the Philippine Racing Commission’s 3YO Locally Bred Stakes Race last May 31, while Brilliance topped the Hopeful Stakes Race.

Sepfourteen then swept three of the Phiracom’s races by winning the 1st leg of the Triple Crown Series, before Hitting Spree made it four wins for SC Stockfarm of the eight races at stake during the Manila Jockey Club’s 150th Founding Anniversary racing festival, the richest in history, also at the San Lazaro Leisure Park.

Only last week, Sepfourteen moved on the cusp of Triple Crown history by winning the second leg of the series.
