THE World Karatedo Federation has withdrawn its recognition of the Philippine Karatedo Federation from its membership.
WKF president Antonio Espinos informed PKF president Joey Romasanta of their decision, which reportedly stemmed from the Philippine Sports Commission’s investigation after funds were allegedly misused when members of the national travelled to Germany for a training stint last year.
Top officials of the PKF eventually went on leave afterwards.
Espinos said the PKF can still appeal their case during the WKF Congress this November.
