ABS-CBN S+A presents one rocking Friday for all sports fans in a loaded schedule headlined by the second title defense of ONE World Lightweight Champion and Filipino MMA superstar Eduard “Landslide” Folayang against ONE World Featherweight titlist Martin “The Situ Asian” Nguyen, airing live at 8:30 p.m.

The mega fight card dubbed “Legends of the World” by Asia’s biggest promotions outfit, ONE Championship, will be giving Pinoy MMA fans a massive treat from the Mall of Asia Arena.

Apart from Folayang, other Filipinos are partaking in the event such as Danny Kingad, who is shooting for the ONE Flyweight belt of Brazilian Adriano Moraes in the biggest fight of his career. Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon will be suiting up against South Korean Kevin Chung, while Joshua “The Passion” Pacio faces compatriot Roy Doliguez. Team Lakay’s lone female representative in the fight card, Gina “Conviction” Iniong, looks for her third-straight win in the ONE Championship cage against Indonesia’s Priscilla Gaol.

Before the festivities fire off at the MoA Arena, football aficionados get first dibs as S+A airs the 1st leg playoff match between Northern Ireland and Switzerland in the European Qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup live at 3:30 a.m. Following it is the telecast featuring the first leg of the playoffs between the booters from Croatia and Greece at 5:30 a.m.

When the clock strikes 9 a.m., it’s time for die-hard hoops fans to join in on the fun as the NBA on ABS-CBN presents an explosive match between LeBron James’ Cavaliers against the Houston Rockets and their superstar guard James Harden, airing live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. It will have a same-day replay at 12 noon and on primetime at 6 p.m., serving as an appetizer for the “ONE: Legends of the World” fight card.

However, that’s not all as local basketball also takes center stage in the afternoon with the start of the NCAA Finals between the Lyceum Philippines University Pirates and the San Beda College Red Lions live at 3:30 p.m. on S+A and S+A HD, as well as via livestreaming on sports.abs-cbn.com. The Pirates, who reached the Final Four and the Finals for the first time since joining the league in Season 87, look to keep their unbeaten streak alive against the defending champions, who have yet to defeat Lyceum this season.
