Bulldogs beat Pirates in Milcu summer tilt

The National University Bulldogs took down the Lyceum Pirates, 72-55, in one of the opening games of the 2019 Milcu Sports Got Skills Basketball Summer tournament at the Trinity University of Asia in Quezon City.

Joshua Sinclair fired 23 points for the Bulldogs, who took the solo lead in the 25-years-old and under division.

The Lyceum Pirates endured their first loss after the Pirates started their pre-season campaign on a bright note by taking down the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons, 58-50.

Jamba Garing fired 14 points in leading the Pirates to their first triumph in the 25-years old and under category.

In the 19-under action, the San Sebastian Stags drew 24 points from Milo Janao in their 69-61 beating of the University of Perpetual Help Altas.

The Letran Knights joined the Stags in the early lead when they got past University of Santo Tomas, 98-78, with CJ Saure knocking in 22 points.

In the 14-under side, Ray Ramirez unloaded 31 points for the San Beda Red Cubs, who walloped La Salle-Lipa, 80-53.

TJ Castillo shot 18 points for the University of Santo Tomas Tiger Cubs in their 88-77 smashing of La Salle Greenhills.

Ramises Reyes unloaded 33 points for the Red Cubs in their 70-63 win over La Salle-Lipa in the 13-under side.

James starred with 16 points as La Salle-Lipa prevailed over Lourdes School-Mandaluyong, 72-65, under the 12-under action.
