The third-seed Pistons overcame the sixth-ranked Nueva Ecija Go Bespren, 87-75, while No. 5 Ballers edged No. 4 CamSur Express, 76-72, to make it to the semifinal round of the league for homegrown talents.

The Pistons will be facing the second-seed Parañaque Aces, as the Ballers will be battling the first-seed Bulacan Makabayan in the semifinals set on Wednesday at the Baliuag Star Arena in Baliuag, Bulacan. The Makabayan and the Aces hold a twice-to-beat advantage in the semifinals, needing just a win to move into the best-of-three finals set next month.

Jeff Disquitado had a triple-double after tallying 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in the win by the Pistons over the Go Bespren, while Mark Sornet delivered 14 points on 6 of 11 shooting from the field for the Ballers in their close win over the Express.
